Creek Fishing 11-18 with Hoosiers

Post by Welby »

Went Saturday with some friends from Indiana. Neither had every Boated a Redfish. Hooked up to the jon baot and headed for the Aucilla. John put a keeper in the boat first with a nice 18-1/2" incher. So the pressure is now on the wife. This would be her only fishing trip this time down although John will probably get one more in before they head north next weekend. What a long trip back to Indiana it would be having to listen to and look at that smirky grin on John's face the whole way back. Well her efforts paid off as she hooked up to and played a beautiful 19-3/4" multi-spotted Redfish to the boat like a pro off the Redfish tour. I think the smiles say it all

We could never find anything happening with the trout, but what a fun day. Ended up with three keeper Reds and two happy Hoosiers at the end of the day.

It's nice when you can take friends out and they catch fish 8) . Too cool.
You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?
