Brrrrr! Cold morning but beautiful afternoon. Should have used better judgment and got on the water a little later. Anyways boat in the water at 10:00 and buzzed down to the mud flat that was covered with fish last week. Tide was significantly lower but I found the fish laid up in some potholes on the edge of the flat. They were tough to say the least. Managed a couple little guys and decided to fish some mud elsewhere.

As I pulled up to my next spot a fish blows out in a puff of mud in front of me. I pushed down this bar and found a lot of cooperative fish in the 18-22 inch range.

Fished one more mud flat before heading in at 5:00.

Couldn't find any big fish today but the little guys are just as fun. Ended the day with 12-15 reds and a few trout.
