Many years later, Bill came home a little tipsy and sad. Mary asked what was wrong and Bill announced that his company was downsizing and that they had given him notice he was out. He didn't know how he was going to find a decent job at 59 years of age.
Mary smiled and walked out of the room. Bill thought that odd until she came back in holding several bank books.
Mary said, Bill you remember how we started that game of your paying me $20 each time we made love. Yep, Bill said. I figured you used that as fun money. No Mary said, I've saved it all. Here is my IRA statement and it shows a balance of over $1million and here are the statements of my CD's with a balance of over $2million. We are one of the largest depositers in our bank. So you see, you don't have to worry.
Dang Bill said with amazement...if I had known this, I would have given you all of my business over the years.
