Broken ButtBone

Post by Redbelly »

Anybody ever cracked your coccyx? :o
I had a freak fall at the dining table, while putting on a sock the chair legs gave way, and I did a cannonball on the floor.

It is painfull. And from what I've been told, and read it will be several weeks or more for it to heal. :(

Aggravating too. It cut into my outdoor activities this weekend. Gonna order a cushion especially for broken butts. 8)

Everything I do turns out to be a real pain in the azz. :P

Been there, done that. It takes a while to heal and you look like an old man until it does.

Sorry to hear about your fall Redbelly :( It's hard to imagine any kind of activity where that injury wouldn't be a problem. Just be careful...

maybe you should consider a skeg guard?? :D

Hope you get well soon.

I did that about 25 years, ago falling from a horse.

The main advantage I had, was I also cracked 4 ribs, a collarbone and dislocated my shoulder.

I hurt in so many places, that I almost forgot about the rear end.

I suggest you crack a couple of ribs to take your mind of it. ;-)

Go to the maternity dept. of Walmart or Target...they'll have an inflatable butt cushion :-D Pregnant women routinely break their tailbone giving birth. Definitely makes fishin' tough. Hope you heal up fast

I broke mine 4 years ago because I fell down a flight of stairs and it took almost 6 months to heal and I got a wheel barrow tube and filled it up with air and sat on it and that took care of a lot of the pain

Most of my serious injuries occurred while I was doing some activity on my boat. I think I will be more carefull the next time I go to get my socks on. :o

Breaking your azz bone has got to be more painful than shoulder surgery.

Hope you heal quickly... . RB
