Taking advantage of the warm weather we’ve been having, and reading great fishing reports from near by, I prepared the boat up and me and my first mate headed down to the fort Saturday morning. We were greeted by some patchy fog and tide that was going to fall into the negative numbers, The fog was such that even the coots kept a low formation.

First stop was the old wreck, the water temp was right around 66.5 and water visibility was poor. Second cast, my first mate pulls in a 16â€

Because the boat was "hopping" down the river I had to get my first mate to sit on the bow to reduce the hopping to the minimum.. The wind inflated Santa's wind breaker and made her looked rather large.. :-D :-D
