Fiesta Bowl

Post by reel therapy »

I don't know if anybody else stayed awake for this one, but it may have been the best (at least one of the top 5) college football game I have ever seen.

Props to Boise State coaching staff for some gutsy play calling, and to the players for flawless execution.

What a game!

Boise State deserved to win.....they flat took it to OU!

They were not intimidated in the least!

Should Fl beat Ohio State, Boise State is deserving of a
co-national championship at least!

RHTFISH,

As a Big-Ten fan and OH boy, I think you're jumping the gun a bit (assuming you're saying UF would be the other-half of the co-national champ). First and aside, OSU isn't loosing. Second, how about Wisconsin? A one loss team coming out of a major conference.

Boise played a good game and has had a remarkable season, but if hadn't been a scheduling gap that allowed OSU and Wisconsin not to play each other this year, then the Big-Ten could have been a horse race --OSU/MICHIGAN/WISC. (with my biased bet on the Buckeye's).

Go Bucks!

PUT ANY ONE OF THOSE TEAMS THROUGH AN SEC SCHEDUAL AND THEY WOULD PROBABLY WIND UP 6-4

a tougher schedule in the SEC? I believe OSU will have beaten three number two teams to win the national championship (Texas, MI, and FL). At least one of those teams also beat another no 2 team this year (ND).

Finally, let's take a look at Tennessee (a decent SEC team), and how they faired against PSU (a decent Big-Ten team). No way 4 SEC teams beat the Bucks.

Normally, I agree with Wevans, a play-off is the only true means. However, this year little is left to doubt; only one undefeated team with a prime-time schedule.

Go Bucks. :smt004

Sorry to derail RT. Boise state played a great game. You know how excited we can get of NCAA football though.

Sooooo....if OSU wins...where would you rate Boise State?

If Fl wins, how would you rate top 3 in final standings?

Inquiring minds want to know? :-D

I do think any team that goes undefeated and wins its BCS bowl
can claim part of any championship! My 0.02
