With the jack plate you need that extra height on the platform.

Did you find a way to get the "whitish crusty stuff " off. That looks like a lot of work.

I haven't facerd that one yet. Although a paint job may be in order.

I still need to crawl under it and scrape the old dried barnacles off, and those wormy trails. The ones I could easily reach came off OK. But they took the paint off too.

Looks like a rig some guys from Moultrie set up to duck hunt on Seminole. That is a step on the back pod to help you get in and out with waders on. Used to see one just like that up Spring Creek when there were alot of ducks up there. Sweet rig and it will run shallow!!!!

Yes a lot of ducks were kilt outa that rig from what I was told. Thomasville crew. They have a place on Spring Creek too. :D
