Aw rite ! This will have to pass for one....

Went to farm figuring to try to find a couple covies of birds this afternoon. After lunch looked in pumphouse and found a couple baitcasters of son in law's. One had a rattletrap and one a spinnerbait. Took the one with rattletrap and walked down to pond which is in front of the house.

Second cast had a bump..slowed down retrieve and wham ! bout a 2 lb bass was on..Worked it up slow, the pond was real clear and another one makes a pass at him trying to hit the plug. I sez well.........

Threw first one back and a couple casts later had a somewhat larger one on...I played it slow and all of a sudden another one has hit the lure and got hooked on the second set of hooks ! between the two of em fighting each other it didnt take much to land them..

Caught two more after that. last one weighed around five pounds. Had to get ready to hunt so gave it up...Woulda been nice to been around Grey Mare and had em hitting topwaters like that !

This will have to pass for a Sat fishing report !
