IPOD to boat radio....

Do any of you use the FM transmitter thing to play your IPOD on your boat? If so how well does it work?

Thanks

Forget it, they suck. If you already have a head unit on the boat, does it have a cd changer input? If so getting that adapter is better.

Yep go hardwire. I have it in my truck (Sirius) and no complaints. I have read issues with the FM deal on other forums.

I am still thinking about paying to wire-in 4 speakers, an amp, extra antenna and a cradle for the Sirius on the boat so I can jam out whilst on the sand bar.
