Hey Wevans I wish everybody would move over to your area, and leave mine alone. Pretty decent catch for 3 hours. I still ain't got into the top water fish too much, so far this spring.
Wevans...I fished over that way a few times last year...I love fishing behind Piney, but never done real well....Normally put in at skipper bay lane in the ol' john boat......Were those reds on the flats or were you fishing in close?
The Reds were on the edge of the secondary channel, between Piney and the main channel I just drifted up onto the flats next to the main channel and threw back out into the deeper water and retreived towards the shallows I have never caught anything besides catfish on the back side of Piney

Secondary channel thought that was prop tracks ....Have caught a few trout behind Piney, nothing to write home about..Looks more fish than it is..There are some deep holes and a bunch of bars back there...You need a four wheel drive boat back there
I would explain were that thangs at, but then I'd have ta kill ya They are some folks who can pull fish out from back there, I just aint one ofum
