Cajun Thunder

Post by Ken K »

Is there a trout alive that has not seen one? I think the next time I go, I am going to give the old style foam popping cork a try. Whachall think?

All my cajun thunders are covered with teeth marks, and some have parts missing from being eaten. That can only be a good thing.

I always use the old-fashioned cork. A bunch of large trout this Sunday seemed appreciative. Maybe it's a "retro" thing.

That's "retro thang" thank ya very much  Welcome eat_mo and get a  on me  I think that it is more of a confidence thang than anything else! If you have confidence in what yer throwin, you will catch fish with it 8)

I still use the smaller size popping corks that are weighted. On a calm day nothing beats a good solid "pop" to get attention. I've been thinking about the thunder for days when the wave action makes a popping cork useless for anything but a float. If you go "old school", you won't be dissappointed.
