St Marks river 1/14

Post by finniefish »

Put in at the fort around 9AM, bunch of us on a pontoon, most of them primarily do freshwater. Headed up the wakulla, hit a couple of holes nada. Headed up the st marks, just past power plant, nada. So I decided to put them on a hole that produced last year, 15 reds to 25 in. brought home 3. Also sheepshead, mangrove snapper and those pesky little silver trout. Great day on the water with good friends.

Guess that explains why I have been catching reds in the river. Just when I thought I was onto something... :smt012
