Low water today we put in at the fort at 10 am me and my 2 grandfather's we had a good time together. We started out in the mouth of the river and did not catch anything so we worked are way in around some bars and got 2 bites around that island with all of the trees growing on it. The water never really came in most of the bars were showing all day. We left at 4 pm but still had a fun day together. The water temp was a chilly 57. We used all kinds of baits topwaters mirror lures the only thing that got bites was a white gulp with a jig head.

Maybe this cold weather will finally push the fish into the river. My winter spots haven't been working this year.

Hey, your lucky. Never knew one of my grandfathers and the other one died way too soon for me. Sounds like the best day reported so far.
