Battery drain - gotta find the source

I once found a dime in the cigarette lighter socket and that was where I traced the battery drain to come from. I checked for a short with a meter by disconnecting the battery, and using an ohm meter across each lead, then went halfway though the wiring system, then repeated until I found the source of the short.

Got a charger and the battery worked like a champ after Advance Auto Parts charged it for me. Also added distilled water (didn't know about this because the house battery came with the boat).

But if it goes on the fritz again I will definately start hunting around. Black&Dekker sells a nice little charger with LED indicators at WalMart. Beat the pants off of the Craftsman/Diehard one which was over twice as much.
