Lake Talquin

Post by Castaway »

The other afternoon a friend and I set out to lake talquin for an afternoon of fishing. We did pretty good and I even managed to land 5 that were over the 18 inch minimum. All in all we caught about 15 fish and we only kept these five for pics then they were released. We caught our fish on a variety of baits and they were in and around anywhere from 5 to 10 feet of water :thumbup;

Feb 2007 issue of the Florida Sporstman has an excellent article on fishing the Lake Talquin dam. Check it out.
