Seminole Ramlin's

January 21 , 2007

On Tuesday this past week Mike Prindle reported 16 lbs. with one at 8 ½ lbs. Flippin, Jerry Dasch reported one at 8 lbs., then again on Saterday Mike Prindle’s catch tipped the scales at 19.26 with a 6.70 as Big Fish.

Clint Brown had 19.24 with a 6.00 Big Fish, Kris Daniel had also 19.24 with a 6.75 Big Fish, Daniel had Big Fish and Number 2 spot the cash was split between the two. A fair way to do it I think. They were fishing the Seminole Team Trail by Richard Predmore.

Lonnie O’Neal last week had 15 lbs. on Sunday to win Most Fish and dogged if this past Saterday he had 15 more pounds on the scales. The youngin has got a honey hole I think.

Now after the 37 ½ lbs. Flathead last week by Russ Rodgers and Trey Sellers who should walk up to the scales but Brandy Whittiker with a Flathead too big to weigh on our Bass scales, we don’t know what he weighed, but he sure was big and still alive.

Now we get down to the Speck fishen, 2 ladies took to the water and spanked the Perch good last Friday evening with Minnows, like as not they’ll do it agin soon. They were Betty Hobbs and Casey Ingram.

W.T. Womble limited on Minnows and a boat fishing Jigs reported all three took their limits on Jigs. It is our thinking that this will be a bumper year on Perch. Jigs and Minnows alike, there should be a few in the three pound class and a heap on 1 and 2 pound classes.

We know now that the Bass will be plentyfull and rite easy to catch, sed the fishermen from the early tournaments we have already had, and more on every weekend from now until the heat of summer gets here.
