I was just wondering what input I could get from our forum members on a boat I am looking at.
Its a 2520 parker deep v full transom with twin 150 yamaha hpdi's.
I've been using my 21' bay boat for grouper fishing and diving and am looking for something a little more seaworthy and roomy especially for diving and all the gear that goes along with it.
Any comments good or bad will be appreciated.
I have heard that with the helm station foward that the boat rides a little rough. Now you have to remember I've been making the same trip in a 15 degree bay boat. It's got to be better than that.
I've never owned one but have been on them and crawled all over them at boat shows, dealers, etc. Money being no consideration my wife and I have always considered the 25 Parker with a full transom our first choice for what your going to be using it for. Lots of fishing room, proven hull design, good ride, excellent choice IMO.

The rougher ride isn't just Parker. The further forward you are in a boat, the rougher the ride. However, I would suspect the forward ride in a Parker is better than average. Should be a good rig for what you're intending to use it for.
Only thing I have ever heard negative was the trim pieces were prone to rattle loose after some use....The fix suggested was to add some 5200 to the screws
YES...I agree....LOTTERY=PARKER 25 ftr.....but I definitely would put a $800 a/c unit on that bad boy, oh what the heck, put a heater on it too. I really don't know why more folks don't put those a/c units on the pilot house style boats.....good luck...
Saw a new 25 parker where I was staying in Marathon a few years ago. They had an AC unit that fit on the forward hatch and you could remove it when ever you want to looked like a pretty neat setup.

Even without the AC and the heater you would still be more comfortable in the PH. Followed one for a little while comming in from offshore last year headed North on the St. Marks River. They looked a lot more comfortable than we were.
