Ochlockonee River

Post by RiverRunner »

Took off work a little early Friday and decided to go fishin. I was on the river between Old Iron bridge and Hwy 12. It started out slow and was begining to wonder if I was gonna get skunked. But the STINK Bait finally paid off and got these two on at the same time. Luckily both the rods were in the holders. Had to reel in one, throw it in the bottom of the boat then grab the other rod. After those two, I only caught one other one. Was able to get some good fingers out them :lick: . This is my first fish report post, ain't much to it. But at least I caught a couple  .

Yeah this is in Gadsden County and the river is pretty high, not outside the banks though. I have acess to a private landing in between Old Bainbridge road and Fairbanks ferry rd. I don't have any word on the specs, I haven't tried fishing for them yet and I didn't see any body else on the river.
