Hmmm. I am relatively new to this forum so I hate to jump in here in the middle of your conversation, but I was curious about the thread topic. I am thinking about fishing in this tournament, which would be my first one. A couple of questions, though:

Is birddog going to be fishing in this tournament? And if he is, then can I follow him? Not to take anything away from JT51, tincan and chalk, or any of their marked creeks, but I want to find some (red)fish!

If birddog isn't fishing this one , then I would be more than happy to follow JT, tincan and chalk (or just sleep in).

Just look for the creek with the most anchor scraps, that's the one TC and Chalk fish in

Birddog is not fishing the tournament. He can't handle the competition.

I will not be there RT. Some folks have "real" jobs and have to work for a living unlike TinCan.

They always schedule the redfish tourney in Feb. blaming it on the closed trout season, but the real reason is they know I have to work weekends during the winter and they know I'll kick their butts if I'm there.

Following those other 3 ding dongs will just get you in trouble.

Come on and join the fun RT. You'll enjoy it. The only advice I can give you without facing the wrath of Chalk, is to fish as shallow as possible, preferably in a place that is hard for other people to get to. Keep moving till you find the bait.
