Supa Fly maybe the secret has to do with whether or not you were licking your fingers after the Dorito's before baiting the hookSupa Fly wrote: Apparently, it also doesn't hurt to have a bag of Fiery Habanero Dorito's aboard. They were with me on both trips, so I'll probably have to start carrying them on every trip, just so as not to mess with the mojo.

Just Fish: maybe you're right. Maybe I was using Fiery Habanero LY's and didn't realize it.
go devil: How's it going Dale? I used to buy auto insurance from your dad. I thought I had seen you down at Lanark a couple of times. I also think I saw a post from you on the FS forum a year ago or so where you got into the bull reds maybe in West Pass. Does that sound right? That post was one of my first inspirations to try for bull reds in the passes.

I've been working with dad now for about 10 years.
I lucked up and caught one at the old shrimp boat that was probably around 40 inches.
About 12 years ago I went with Bic Guy to SGI and we caught a load of LY's under the bridge at the ramp and absolutely wore out on reds at the cut. At that time we were using the old Quantum ex-200 bassin baitcasters and by the end of the day they were trashed.
