2-4-07 Spring Creek

Post by jsuber »

I just wanted to get out of the house today, and I headed over to Spring Creek since the water was pretty much gone everywhere. Lots of Reds swimming around but not taking the bait. The water was very shallow and they were very spooked. Still it was a nice day to get out. I paddled around some of the Springs, the water was tanic, and the fish just were not biting. I ran into a fellow that was also at the Redfish Workshop and he said he picked up a few trout earlier, but when the tide slacked they stopped. Oh Well.

It's good to be on the water even when the fish take a break.
