A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Nope, but have considered it before I just worry about the grass and such

A small piece of surgical, or vinyl tubing works well. Put the tubing over the eye of the treble. Stick the worm hiik point through the tubing and the eye of the treble. Same method for keeping trailer hooks on spinner baits.
The tubing seems like it will work well. I had some fuel line left over from a weedeater repair and it is the perfect size. The problem with this rig is that you have to remove the treble hook to replace the bait.
Might have to track down some of those fancy red hooks this weekend.
CS, that is a brilliant idea!!!
I think a piece about a 1/4" square would work perfectly. I am going to try it next time I get to the salt.
I'll keep using the tubing for freshwater.
