Mashes 2/10 & 2/11

Post by Mako17 »

Saturday- cold rough and miserable. Barely got my little boat out to Rotary. Came back in at noon with nothing. I heard it went smooth at noon- just my luck

Sunday- Same as Saturday- rough and cold but I persevered. Smoothed out somewhat around 11 and I headed to my spot near 24. Trolling the redhead and the green tiger, I thought I was gonna get skunked again and then at 12:30 somebody rang the dinner bell. Caught two shorts and one keeper inside of 20 minutes. Ended up catching 2 more keepers and about 7-8 shorts. I think I could have limited out if I wasn't scared I would run out of gas. I can just imagine telling the wife that these grouper ended up costing $500 so I could get towed in :smt014 !

All in all- any day on the water- away from the hormonal pregnant wife- is a good day!

Really wanna pi$$ her off? Wait until her smeller is very sensative, then about 11:00 at night, fry up some eggs. She'll LOVE it. Trust me :smt005
