those pipes should go all the way to the floor for support. Run aground pretty hard with the weight of a grown man hitting that console and it wont last too long. Just deck the whole boat like the Texas boys do. Always liked the looks of those. Looks cool though.....get you one chalk
I like it, don't get me wrong, I just think it could of been done a little better...I would of used smaller diameter pipe, like on the poling platform, it holds me standing on it, I'm not standing on the console....I might of made one bigger for rigging....And I wouldn't have used that big arse shifter.
But it's alot easier to critique than to design and build...

May not have had a alternative on the size pipe. Hydro steering, double shifters, and all the electrical. May not have fit in a 1.5 pipe.
I have 2 - 2" pipes with alot of chit running through it, mechanical steering, shifter, throttle, wiring harness forward and rear, trolling motor wires (6 GA), starter wires....and I could still run a few frog hairs down it
