Anyone know how to do it? I'm looking for something to occupy my time :roll: :lol:

I found directions on howto do the linear version, can't figure out the three strand version.

Thats what I thought. I saw it on Flip's new boat. Make me 1 too. I need something to dress up my old drab turd of a boat. :lol:

I believe the one on Flips boat is the linear cockscombing...That's Capt Bryan's boat, I got my fly rod from him...What a thought...maybe I should ask him :roll: :lol:

The first picture I showed, they guy will sell you a finished wheel for $500 :o

What is the material, twine? It would have to be something easy to clean, maybe with a weatherproof coating on it, or would you put a finish on it after you're done?

You can use just about anything....nylon or cotton is normally used on boats...I found a site yesterday where I guy was making rings, bracelets and such out of gold and silver
