It's your OCD talking Ckalk. It's telling you that you need just one more thing to clean and maintain on the boat. Besides you'd probably have to re-tie/replace every year anyway to keep it looking good. Too much sugar for a dime.

Now, on the other hand it would be cool to use it as a rod handle instead of cork. The weight would balance out some of those long eight foot rods and be da bomb foshizzle :thumbup:

My first attempt at ringbolt hitching....a sprinkler head is not a good wrapping tool, kinda slick...I think I zigged when I should of zagged on a few...not a bad first try IMO

I got busy and have three blisters to prove it :o

My first french whipping :o :lol: aka cockscombing, coxscombing and a few other things :-?

And then I got cocky and decided I could do the double version...I figured another way to do this while doing this one, you can actually make the two spirals touch and then go back out the opposite directions vice crossing as I did.

Now I have the coolest mini sledge and crab net in Panama City :lol:

I think I'm gonna try a turk's head to finish the pieces.....something like this...
