Alligator Point...

Post by bman »

Wife and I spent a couple of nights with friends at their place on Alligator Point.
Went out Saturday- It was COLD and Windy so we fished a few of the canals and deep holes.
We found some fish in a canal near the house.
After a number of smaller reds and a few trout this one slammed my jig.

We were not 30 yards from the house so we ran back for a quick photo!

I lost a Skitterwalk to one about that same size in one of those canals back in August. A lot of fun, just watch the gators and low hanging limbs.

We are standing on the dock for a photo before the fish went back in the water!

Didn't tell you all a few other details- caught it on a shimano bantam 10- little bass baitcaster- and didn't have a net- just cradled it into the boat!
