"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

I use the links on the front page of bigbendfishing.net. Just keep in mind, if NOAA says 5 to 10 knots, that usally means 10 to 15 knots. If NOAA says 1 to 2 foot seas, I plan on 2 to 3 foot seas.

Of course this can go both ways. If NOAA misses it and it is better than predicted, consider it gravy.

I'd really like to meet that guy (NOAA) one day.
You just can't fix stupid.

I use Intellicast Windcast. There is a link to it on the weather page, also. It's a little more definitive because it shows different wind conditions for different areas on the map.
What was I supposed to do today?

You may laugh, but I find that weather.com guesses as good as anyone, and they seem to update more often.

I have not gone fishing on days due to the weather report there, and checked this site later only to hear people complaining about being tricked by the noaa forecast. No scientific study done, just casual observation.
