I've got two. Haven't had them very long; but, so far so good. I know several others on here are fans of them as well.

Being relatively new to the boating world I can't recommend any specific brand. Truth be known, there are very few battery manufacturers these days. There are many different stickers on the same battery.

My best advice is...

1. Listen to other boaters recommendations.

2. Purchace a battery from a vendor that you know you won't hear a bunch of squawking about warranty replacement. For example, if you purchase an Everstart from Walmart (I think that's their brand), you know they're gonna swap it with no questions asked. There are other reputable vendors (See #1).

3. Keep your reciept.

4. I discussed Voyager Marine batteries with my Delco representative just yesterday. He said the biggest failure of any marine cycle battery is poor attention to charge/discharge maintenance.

There ya' go. Hope that helps.

Amen. Always maintain a full charge and they'll last a long time.

About the receipt: get it from a dealer that you trust that keeps up with it by computer. I know Auto zone does. Receipts are a pain. :D
