I've got Power Pro on my Stadics, and like it alot. I just might give that suffix a try on a baitcaster though.
When you do get a wind knot with braid, it's definately a pain in the arse

I've used them all and luv braid. No real difference in wind knots for me at > 10 lb test. I have used 15lb in PP, on medium rods for 3 years know. You need to get the twist out by pulling line behind boat after you load em. Most important trick I have found is closing the bail BEFORE the lure hits the water. Tightens up the whole deal and you won't get the dreaded pig tail that results in the dreaded PLUFFFF...

When you get a wind knot, I find it relatively easy to undo with PP...Dunno why.

I'm going to keep comments to myself regarding the combination of the last two posts above

I just finished removing the mother of all birds nests on one of my baitcasters. It had Suffix line on it. The birds nest was a result of a crappy reel design and operator error. I was able to get it out with a pick. Don't think I could have ever got it out of mono. Of course with the mono's cost difference, I would have just hacked it off and started over...to each their own.

I got power pro red line on my curado's and stradic and havent had a problem yet, but I can't go fishing 3 times a week like some people I know to test it out.

. And if you guys love Stradics I bought a new Magnesium frame Stradic friday and I love it. It is really light and smooth.
Hey but what do I know, I can't catch a fish at Keaton Beach even if they jumped in the boat with me.

So did I. Go to Shimano's website and look at any magnesium reel. They say, in their information, they are fine in salt.

I got some 4000's I wouldn't mind trading up for something smaller...if not 1000 maybe 2500.
