What do you do when you win $116 million

Post by jsuber »

The fellow from Dalton, GA says" I'm going fishing". I guess I have been hanging out with millionaires for years and didn't even know it.

I happened to catch the "live" presentation on WSB news and observed
Mr. Nabors was not overly talkative and quite humble. I loved it when he was asked what he was going to do....he didn't hesitate when
he answered "I'm going fishing."! He later said he might get him
a "little piece of property on the lake and just stay there."!
GO MR. NABORS!

80 million after taxes! I don't think I can count anywhere near that high so I'd have to hire an accountant to make sure I got it all! :-D
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

What six to seven mil a year. Lotta good places all over the world to hunt and fish. You gotta have a house to stay at when you go and a GulfStream 4 to get you there.

I guess I'd really need one of these too to get to the really good fishing holes and enough room for your buddies

BD, you could put your boat in that one.

Interest on 80M would only leave you around 115K per WEEK. I could fish ANYWHERE I have ever wanted to with that kind of kash, and I bet I would have plenty of friends to fish with too.
You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?

What a bunch of loot! I'd have boats all over the world!
If there's not a life after fishing, I don't want to live it.....

This is what PETA sent M. Nabors for his I'm going fishing reply.

March 8, 2007
Dear Mr. Nabors:
On behalf of PETA and our more than 1.6 million members and supporters, I’d like to congratulate you on winning the lottery! This must be a very exciting time for you and your family.
We have heard that you are planning to use your newfound financial freedom to “do a lot of fishing.â€
