European Vacation.....

Post by Chalk »

Well, not really a vacation, but it will explain to some why I posted good morning at 2:30 in the morning, because I was in Germany

I really only had one day to do anything and we tried to got the castle Disney was formed after, Neuschwanstein castle. But everyone in Germany wanted to go skiing and the Autobahn came to a stop several times, so we gave up after driving for 4 hours and had another three to go.

Here is what we wanted to see, Neuschwanstein castle

So we bailed off onto a two lane road and worked our way back to Stuttgart to see the Mercedes Museum. Alot of interesting sites, running through little towns and taking in the sites.

We made it to the Mercedes Museum and toured it, that was really a kewl place.

The next day, Sunday, I had to work for a few hours making sure my contractors were ready to train. After that we headed over to the Rhine river and rode up and down both sides of it. Alot of castles along the Rhine, I didn't take to many pictures of them, I was driving.

That's about it, interesting country, beer is to die for, food is excellent...really efficient culture, they do alot of things smartly. I did 190 on the Autobahn, the little Mercedes we had started floating so I let off

Here are some of my photo's, mainly of the Mercedes Museum

I've flown over that castle and many others in a real bonafide Army Helicopter. Great sites. Mad King Ludwig Rules.
