The 10kt east wind had the 3 to 4 ft swells stacked tight as it always does. Had to slow down a little bit and put up with the slop. My buddy Joey and I put out 2 stretch 30's a little west of the One More Time wreck. Didn't get anything there so we headed a little bit to the SE trolling and got about 1.5 mi and trolled near a boat anchored up that was bottom fishing. We were in 42 ft of water and both drags went off at once. We had two gags and our lines were crossed. It took a few minutes, but we patiently uncrossed the lines. 2 gags in the box... one 23" the other 28". That was at 10:30 a.m. We got no hits the rest of the day....trolled over towards the east from 35 to 50 ft of water and found nada! The wind layed by 2 p.m. and the water was almost slick.
Not a banner day, but Joey and I got dinner for one for each of us. First grouper Joey has caught trolling, so he got broke in on Stretch 30 trolling.
The little bit of rough seas had his stomach a little queasy, but the adrenaline dump from us cathing 2 at the same time helped ease the pain.
Quinn Griffin happened to catch a picture of us running yesterday afternoon when we were coming back in.

Thanks for the report James. Don't think I heard anyone say they loaded the boat, Saturday, so your catch was about average or better.
Nice day on the water, though.
