MudDucker wrote:That was a great stringer of fish ya'll had BirdDog. I was working my way up those same bars when a fellow who will go nameless wanted to leave and go up to Rock Island. Off we went up to short trout land. When tide slacked, wanted to try a hole off of Big Grassy. Nada. Beautiful day on the water and I didn't need my Sea Tow membership so all and all, it was a banner day.
:smt006 My name may not get mentioned but it was I that said we should fish the bars in front of the creeks and not the flats plus all fish that were caught were in the two places i recommended. Zero where you wanted to fish? :smt014

Bird Dog was the big dog the ringer stuff sucked I wouldn't want to shoot in a pool tourney with Wille or Minnesota either. As far as I am concerned BD won and would most likely give them hell if he showed up at one on their tournaments.

BD great to meet you, welcome to my house I fish Spring Warrior 95% of the time it is a great fishery if you can get the tide to let you get around the bars. There are a few on the other side of the warrior I'd love to show you.

Jeff glad you got the glasses couldn't think of anyone that deserves them more you add a lot to the forum. It was great meeting you and hope you good luck in the future. :smt006
Negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is full. We went south at your request. I chose the first bar without a peep from you. You wanted leave the bars and go to Rock Island. You were surprised to learn that there really is an island named Rock Island and thought it was only a bar outside of Spring Warrior. You caught your fish at my spot next to Rock Island. Then after the prime biting time was over, we ran south.

When he says
The lighter colors seemed to work best.
That don't say a thing about what HE threw. The only thing I saw BD throw this weekend that was soft... was a bunch of real fresh BS about where he was fish'n! :-D
