St Marks Lighthouse 3-16-07

Post by jsuber »

Got a late start cause the weather radar didn't match what was going on outside and I took a chance and went fishing. Wind had the water laid down good this morning, but when the clouds started getting thick, I had to make a long paddle from one end of the East River (The farthest End) back to the lighthouse. The wind was really chopping up the water on the paddle back and i hate it when its like that. And when I got back, it died down again. I managed to spend most of my time paddling and caught one small Redfish and one small bluefish. I guess tomorrow we will target Green fish. Went over to the Wakulla River to get wome relief from the winds and took a quick picture of a Manatee, but its not a great shot. Then a boat ran over him and blood went all over the place, no, no, that last part I made up. The Manatee is okay.

You could have said it was a nice size Red if you didn't include the pics of your feet. Take lesson from Bill Dance and Jimmy Houston.. Hold that fish right up to the camera.. :-D

What do you keep you're digital camera in and dry while fishing the Yak? Ziploc?

Nice day on the water!
