Good question--the float is listed as: "This item is currently unavailable" whenever I have pulled it up. But it has a sale price of $14.99 (not including the cooler)! It supposedly is made to fit the 36-50 quart coolers. Here is one of the links I found.

But I would probably get creative, and with a few pool noodles and some bungee cords come up with something to fit my 90 quart Coleman. That should be more than enough to handle any red that I will catch. With some battery powered aerators, and mebbe some Redfish-Saver, I would probably be good to go.

I think something shaped more like a tube or rocket would be easier to pull through the water. Then you put the fish inside of it. Soemething that water could get in and would not leave the fish high and dry when you paddled, and not drown him either.

Now there's a heckuva idea--get a piece of large diameter PVC (8-10 inches or so, at whatever length), put caps with holes drilled in them on each end (or use some plastic "hardware" cloth on each end), plus other holes for circulation along the length, a hinged hatch in the middle (or just set up one end cap for easy removal, or just hinge the pipe at one end for easy opening), add pool noodles along each side, as needed, and you're good to go. Should tow a lot easier than a 90 quart ice chest!

Me, I'll always lean on the side of release and if a valid set of criteria can be defined for photo's that's great. I can't see how this can be done though. One big plus I do see for photo's is a way to record over slot & total number of fish caught.
