SHOWBOAT wrote: Is that right, during what is being called the "Gay-tor era" OSU will have played for three NCs and won a Heisman?
And during the Gator era, the Gators played for 3 National Titles, beating Ohio State for two of those and will almost certainly have another Heisman Trophy winner announced on Saturday evening.
And I believe Ohio State is winless against the SEC in bowl games or least that is what the media kept saying last year before and after the MNC game in Glendale.

I don`t think SMITH even thought he deserved the HEISMAN after he iced his butt form being on it so much in the National Championship!

Showman ask OSU what happens when you meet the GATORS. I think Michigan will find out the same way OSU did. Gator D not as good as last year but the big O is a lot better. Gators Win BIG. As for the national title hope the long break dont hurt you. Will need to get the running game going fast good luck. UGA will kill Hawaii maybe the BCS will realize the mistake and save them the heart ache

Kentucky could beat Ohio State... The Big Ten is a joke.
Hawaii will put up a fight against the dawgs. Could be a lot closer than some of you are expecting. 38-35 Dawgs.

Brennan can`t throw from his back and Brown/Moreno will control the game.

Assuming that is true, wouldn't that make the SEC champion a joke as well

and if its not true then....well...you know... GO BUCKS!
I enjoy talking football with you guys. Ya'll take it seriously and with great pride (as you should, at least if you're an Alabama or FSU fan with a history to be proud of). What I don't understand is how easily many of you can dimiss a quality program b/c of one loss. I'll take a reprieve for now and let the upcoming games play themselves out (or at least get a lot closer), so we don't drive Chalk, BD and the other fish-minded members crazy over the next month.
Good luck, unless you're a gator or a tiger

What I was trying to point out is that a mediocre SEC team could win the Big Ten. OSU plays a weak OOC schedule and get only 2 challenges a year from conference play, usually Michigan and some up and comer like Illinois this year.

And our history includes a 41-14 victory over your Bucks last year. I'm proud of that.
Good luck against the Tigers.

some good quotes in this thread....BTT
still 1 week from the big game though... Looks like my predictions haven't been too bad so far.
That being said, my predictions are as follow: GA by 25, Kentucky by 17, Michigan by 4, and the Buckeyes 27 to 17.

After reading some of the pre-game comments, I had not sympathy for those "WeakARRIORS", especially the comment that our black players are just playing for their slave masters. I don't think Georgia's players appreciated the comments either by the way they got after Hawaii.
