Great job nole  Now if you can just incorporate a bit of "shuffle" along with the foot stomp and some decent banjo music..... you'll have the complete package!! :-D

Good job Nole! Don't know how you do it on those convicts. What were you throwing at them?

Damn, I've been inshore fishing most of my life, and that'd be a good day live bait fishing. Accomplishing that on fly is truely impressive.

Not sure what it's called Supa but it's something I threw together with some EP Dub Brush. Really simple to tie and the reds, trout, and sheepshead eat it. It's close to a mantis or molting shrimp. Here's a shot:

It doesn't change much in the water other than streamlining a little. Does look kind of squidy? Not sure what they think it is. :-? :-?

comparing it to convential tackle (sorry to the fly purists) it looks like a rootbeer tube. I've never been able to figure out what fish think a tube is either, but they catch a lot of fish.

Thanks for sharing Nole; a truly inspiring post.

Don't know what all the discussion is about in reference to what the fly looks like?? With them eyes, color, and the way it would move.....throw a hand full of em in the shrimp tank at Jerry's and they'd fit right in. (imo) Great job on the fly nole... Had an ole Business Prof at UCF who use to say... "WHAT'S GOOD...IS WHAT WORKS!"
