Nole,
Your timing was much better than mine. I launched at 9:15 and was greeted with clouds, chop, chilly temps and no viz. I gave up too early, loaded the boat and went to the state park instead. Wish now I'd stuck it out.

Nice job as usual with the buggy whip and pix. Always enjoy reading your reports.

Great report and pics as usual Nole!!

I see that you fished a rising tide all afternoon, were the fish biting throught the tide or at a specific time?

Great trip Nole! I'm a newbie fly fisher so may I ask what weight rod, line and leader you use?

7M, I fished my 8 weight rod. I've overlined that rod with a nine weight redfish taper (SA). When the fish are shallow, like these were, I use a 12 to 14 foot twelve lb. leader with twenty pound flouro shock and a fly with no weight (or very little) in it (bendback, seaducer, unweighted toad, etc).

JT, I didn't see BoggoB.

Ranaman, the fish were there through the rise. I followed them from the outside to the inside as the tide rose.
