Lanark 1/13

Post by noleflyfisher »

On at 12:00, off at 5:30. Great low water fishing. Encountered the only thing harder than laid up fish--schools of fish in inches of water. For the most part, I watched lots of fish running for their lives as I tried to gently plop a fly in front of them. Hooked a dozen or so and landed seven. Probably saw a couple hundred fish throughout the day in various spots. Saw very few trout. Fun day on the water.
