Good Times wrote:Nice mess of pheeshes. A Little Lemon, little old bay, little butter, little grillin and they are good. One of the keys is getting them on ice pretty quick at well. If you put some salt water in your cooler with the ice it'll get em cold quick.
I do that with the saltwater every time. Put water in until just under the ice top. Drop a trout in and instead of thrashing on top of the ice it swims down in it. The water is so cold you can hardly stand to did them out for cleaning. And when you get home they look just caught fresh.
Caught on 00 Mackerel Tree Rigs. Doesn't take long catching three and four at a time.
Cooking: On the grill in a foil pack with butter(or oil), garlic and your favorite seasoning. Pan fried is always good too.
