by What a mess
While I never met him I knew him in a way many do not. I served in the USMC and my father in law retired from the Corps. While there is no doubt that he would wish to be alive, there is none in my mind that he new why he fought, and what was on the line. He gave his all for many that have never given a thing. He payed the price for those that cannot imagine the value of the freedom or rights they have. Few would dare to stand on those yellow foot prints to begin with. Not all can complete what he began just a short while ago.
No one can ever offer hope to comprehend the loss the family has experianced unless they have been there themselves. While there are those that could care less about America or a serviceman I for one can't stop crying. He did what many couldn't and most wouldn't. I am deeply in his dept.
Thank you for your sacrifice PFC Vincent, To his parents I am sorry for your loss as a Mom & Dad.
Please know he didn't die in vain there are those that care more than you will ever know.
