BayGator... great story but love to hear a bit more details?... How long did you all have to fight him? And seriously, how much damage did he do to the boat???! :wink:

I always take a deep breath and say a small prayer before yanking 25 pounders on board... think I would have to have a Priest on board throwing holy water on me before I would commit to pulling that one in! :lol:

No damage to the boat, but I did have to wrestle him into the cooler as my buddy had a good laugh. It took him about 25 minutes to get tired so we could gaff him. The coolest part was that our second cobia rod was down and out and the fish was caught on a 4000 size shimano and a 7 foot medium action rod!!!!
