We have not seen COURAGEOUS but will as soon as possible. Thanks for the information. We'll be sure to look for her.
I know you are proud!
Heck, I'm proud and just because I know someone who know her!
SUPER!

Yes, I know where Five Ash is, but never fished there. During the hot summer months, I usually fish below the power dam to hwy 32.

I KNOW YOU ARE PROUD OF YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER, SURE WISH THERE WERE MORE YOUNG LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THAT WOULD FOLLOW WHAT IS REPRESENTED IN THE MOVIE, MAYBE WE SHOULD BE BETTER LEADERS.

I took my teenage girls with me to see the movie. We all felt closer after seeing it. The Gospel message is spelled out clearly in the movie so many non-Beliverss will probably be offended by that. I thought it was entertaining, plus it's great when a movie motivates people toward positive actions instead of only entertainment. Who cut the onions in the theater?! My eyes kept watering during the movie. The granddaughter stole the show. It's good to have decent movies to watch.

Well, it took me a little longer to see the movie, but I watched it last night with my wife and oldest daugther and we truly enjoyed it. It was a great movie in my opinion. As noted above, someone must have been cutting onions earlier, as my eyes kept getting watery. Of course, having two daughters 12,10 and watching this movie will do that to you.
The G220 Conference is headed to Crawfordville this weekend and I plan on attending it. As I understand some of the cast from Courageous will be there as well. For those fellas who are looking for a meaningful conference to attend, go ahead and register for the G220 Conference and attend it this weekend.
Ironically, I was scheduled to fish a Fire Department tourney this weekend that benefits Camp Amigos (a camp for children impacted by burns), however, a gentleman spoke at our Church yesterday about the G220 Conference and I just felt that I needed to shift my priorities from fishing (although it was for a great cause) to something really needed here in America, a conference that is designed to spiritually guide men to be the men they should be.
Yall have a good week.

My church had a men's retreat this past Friday and Saturday centered arround "Courageous". Awesome movie and a great time. Myself and about 49 other men from Deer Lake United Methodist attended.

Scoop, I will be at the 3Y Ranch conference this weekend, really looking forward to it! Maybe we will run into one another.
Steve, did your group go up to their camp outside of Albany? I heard it's awesome up there.

No, big spenders that we are, we stayed at the Wildwood Country Club down in Crawfordville. We had a great time though. I set up a small fishing tournament, there was a golf event and another group that kayaked and canoed down the Wakulla River.

Hey Steve sounds like ya'll had a good time. I was out at your Church Sunday before last (15th of April). My grandmother, Peggy Winborne has attended there for years and years. My family and I went out there to be with her on her 86th Birthday. I really enjoy hearing your preacher, he does a great job and really has a good vibe with the parishoners.
Charlie P: Maybe we will cross paths this weekend. I'm expecting that it will be a great time.

Wow, CSMarine, I had missed these posts until now I had no idea about your granddaughter's role. She did a wonderful job. It's great to be associated with such a great movie. We need more movies like it. Good luck to her in the future.

Thank you all for the kind words again. I'd like to say that she takes after me, but I'll have to admit that the main thing she got from me was her love for fishing (see the picture earlier in this post) She has been fishing the flats with me since she was old enough to strap on a life vest.
She does truly live for her church. That's the part of her that is not just an act. For those of you who mention the onion effect, think of the heart strings that got pulled on when my wife and I watched the funeral scene.
