I know that we were in a big rain deficient, but quit frankly , I have had enough of the RAIN & MOSQUITOES. I camped at ST. George a few weeks back and the only thing that keep me sane was the fact that I could turn the AC in the camper enough to freeze the little B**sturd's ! WE DO NOT NEED THIS STORM.
I know, I know, we women are never satisfied ..LOL

Food for thought in the coming days..... When "Dennis" came through Pensacola back in 2005, there was enough wind here to drop a 80 TON pine tree on my house. 45K dollars and 75 years later, I sure as heCC don't want another Pine tree on my house. Time to start getting the chain saw sharpened and primed..... Generators are going to be a "hot commodity", time to invest and not wait till it's too late and there are none available. If the storm takes off into Texas, you can return the generator (still in the box) back to Lowes or Home Deopot. I don't even want to visit the idea of the "nightmare" my life turned into back in 2005. Take it from a previous victim, don't become one by doing "nothing".

If it had been a "Geisha" house, that tree would have laid all the way down on the ground. I see the resemblance. The other funny thing was I had just replaced the patio roofing with some of that opaque white urethane crap... LOL !! I said 75 years later  , I meant 7 years later...

My prediction is between NOLA and Mobile. Minimal damage to nw coast, some storm surge, minor wind damage and a few inches of rain.
