I fish the Saros as well....
2500 and 3000 for trout and reds... the 2500 is the same as the 3000 just a smaller spool.

II find the 4000 a little heavy for trout casting but still not bad.
Great bait / surf reel.
I've caught big fish on a 4000 - Grouper, cobia, sharks and tarpon- but a 5000 is probably better suited for the task.
