I had the good fortune to be drawn by Greenbone for the tournament. He also had Rx Fisher aboard.
We headed west also but unlike Tom & Bud our spot produced no fish, sure looked good though. Greenbone actually let me see it without the blindfold on.
Our next two spots were equally unproductive. We then ran east trying to change our luck and, if possible, it was even worse – floating grass everywhere – so back to the west we went.
At this time it was decided, since we had NADA fish, that we wouldn’t go back by check in time and stay out a bit longer.
Rx Fisher thought we were in a Stockwell/Ladyfish tourney. He would have been in the running if we had of been. But, hey, at least he was Catchin!
We ended a very hot day with 1-17â€
