Not a bad first trip, Eerman. I have one question about your trip. What shirt were you wearing? Shirt selection on SJB is very important. Sun dress selection is even more important. I insist Chalk wear the blue dress when we fish SJB. The yellow dress spooks the fish:-D
I also think its an easy place to fish. If you can manage to catch fish in the normally stained overcrowded water out of st. marks then you can catch fish in SJB no problem. Nearly all the same tactics work and some work well.
Just don't fish all the water between Appalchicola and SJB and running out of gas won't be a problem.
