Just tell me to quit. My sorry self hasn't gotten over you telling me "Wouldn't you like to know" about where you were catching fish in one of my favorite places when I was too busy to fish.

Hey Lit... since you opened the can :D and are more knowledgeable than most of us... how bout covering a couple of questions that I'm sure others have on their mind as well.

Based on your understanding:

1. Are these the same larva that we see in Trout?

2. If not the same, what do the larva look like?

3. Are they injurious to humans if cooked and eaten in the fish?
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Ain't bitin that, looks like dead shrimp on a steel leader.

I will try to weigh in on your questions though:
1. Are these the same larva that we see in Trout?
They aren't parasites on the drum but I'd guess the odds are if they were then they would not be the same species.
2. If not the same, what do the larva look like?
Again, they are not parasites on the drum.
3. Are they injurious to humans if cooked and eaten in the fish?
No problem. 100% protein. :lick:
