Took a day off from work and could find no takers to go with so I went by myself.
First fish i got on was a 35-40" Redfish that I manhandled off. (Did not want to waste time with fish I can't keep)
Then I got a nice sheepshead.
Then I got a nice Black Drum.
Some Mullet in the Castnet (going to the co-workers)
I tried to limit out on trout but could only manage 4.
They only wanted the skrimp. Them fishy no like cut-bait.
I will post some pics later.

Nice job (meaning the job you can afford to take off & fish).
Not me.
Catching fish is one thing but the fishable job is the real hook up.

Good dill, 2. Sounds like the honey hole is still holding fish.
What was I supposed to do today?

Black Drum do have whiskers but not like that. Did you try pulling them out and seeing what they really are? They'll come out if you pull real slow and what you'll find out is that they're parasitic worms. They're most common around the mouths of bottom feeders because that’s where they can pick up food. The gruesome thing is that their life cycle puts the larva in the muscle tissue.
You didn’t eat any, did you?

Yeah I think they are part of the fish. I have seen the worms in the meat before but not on this durmy drum!

Ok, that's what I'd probably say too if I'd eaten them. Fluke gestation is like 2 weeks in humans & then our immune system usually gets em.
Usually.
